Abstract For the single-phase ground fault, which has highest probability of occurrence in a 10 kV distribution network, ant colony algorithm is combined with neural network for fault line selection, and optimized. The study builds model MATLAB simulates neutral fault. It compares results optimized selection algorithm, traditional proves that accuracy method identifying faulty lines significantly better than method.
